The shower panel/shower debacle. I hung a towel over the panel to make it easier to see.

I’ve just noticed, you can also see the unusual shape of the sink, too.

crazy shower screen , can you turn shower head to aim towards where screen is connected to the wall. sunbeds 15 euro would add alot of cost to a holiday. i see some people said sunbeds on other beaches stil 10 euros, it must depend on what they have had to pay for the licence. they should make enough money the way they have crammed the beds in on kouk beach, i cant stand it, trouble is i remember it from 22 years ago alot more spaced out mevable beds with umbrellas you could put down. last year we used beds on troulos beach at the far end in a taverna garden directly behind the beach, with umbrellas and really well spaced not on top of other people, and you havent got people constantly walking by. another reason i love the garden at angeliki, 2 paces from the beach and not lying sardine style and lots trees and bushes for shade. Are you enjoying staying in town it must be nice for the girls they can go off shopping nearby and safely.

The loungers don’t actually feel crowded - which is to say I never feel like I’m encroaching on my neighbour, nor them on me, nor feel that I’d like to spread out more but can’t.

Last night, Gravisi. To start with a bowl of fries for the three kids to share, and a cheese-stuffed garlic bread for me and dad. Mains 4 x pizzas and a spag bol. Drinks 3 x soft drinks (Pepsi, Fanta, whatever), a large Fix and 0.5l white wine. Again almost a straight €100.
Please, please, someone remind me next time - at Gravisi you share a garlic bread starter and share one pizza, and that’s enough. 1.5 pizzas leftover.
We visited ‘old Mythos/now More’. A change in ambiance, which will be a matter of taste. Prices not too crazy (€5 for a large beer).
This morning, breakfast, then the girls have hopped on a water taxi to Achladies. Theo has been by the pool, now wandering around town. It’s great that they’re able to explore at such a young age. They feel very independent going round on their own in a foreign country, but they know it so well, and I trust them to be sensible. It’ll build their confidence for later in life when they take off on holidays on their own - for Freya I suspect just 3 years away.
Dad and I brunch at Nikos. Bought a belt (I’d left mine at home) and a pair of sunglasses (same, though I had another pair). Then back to the hotel, and we’re by the pool. Very happy with this year’s playlist.
I’m just about to look at how many more nights we have and how many eateries we want to visit, see what we can fit in.

Sorry it’s not a better pic, I’ll try again later. Mythos/More now a bit more of a clean/modern feel. All on one level. A bit more minimalist seats (though still comfortable enough. The layout inside has changed, now more side-to-side than longways, bar along the back wall rather than on the left.

Great for the girls to learn independence and feel grown up. Greece is safest place in the world I think. After all I’m sure they go out alone at home. You’ll have more to talk about when you meet up, and you and your dad can have nice time together not worried about teenagers being bored.

I think it’s particularly safe as it’s a small island.

Last night Koziakos. 1 x Greek Salad, 1 x pork gyros, 2 c chicken gyros. 1 x ½ spit roast chicken, 1 x mixed grill (lamb & liver), 2 x Pepsi, 2 x 0.5l rose, just over €90.
Very nice, everyone enjoyed the back street ambiance and open grill format.
Koukounaries again today, the girls have gone ahead on the 10:00am bus, we’re following on the 11:15.
Finally bumped into Kate & co. at breakfast, which was nice. Still in awe of the breakfast views.
