OK. No budgie smugglers - with my paunch, you wouldn't see them. One pair of y-fronts and one pair of socks. My shorts have built in y-fronts and Vera washes them regularly whilst we are out there (when I wore a new pair, I spent all day trying to unobtrusively wriggle and ooch away from a terrible discomfort down below - when we got back to our accommodation, I discovered they had one of those stick-on plastic films for hygienic try-ons in the shop). I'll only need socks for when I wear shoes to drive. I shall have one of each on for the flight, so spares are taken care of and Vera washes them in between wearings. A couple of cozzies - one for mornings in the sea, the other for afternoons in the pool. Several pairs of shorts, again washed between wearings at whatever rate Vera dictates. T-shirts sundry and several, suited to my excellent taste, probably about a dozen, don't want to bore people with multiple repeat wearings. I am likely to buy one or two from the nice T-shirt shop man. Wear shoes and trousers to travel. Some shirts for evening posh. Swimming hat and walking hat (my head can't tolerate sunshine, it burns). Sandals (which I wear WITHOUT socks!!!). Bug plug and tablets. Couple of gifts for Villa Maria folks.
Some women's stuff.
Then there's stuff I know about. iPhone, iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, one charger and cable because they all use the same Lightning string thing. Dashcam with spare Micro SD cards.
Easy-peasy, innit?

Thanks Bob. Home now, in the garden with a nice glass of champagne! After 38 years in the civil service I feel it's deserved!! Cheers Let the packing commence! Oh, and I've just been told we have to "share" more of the wedding regalia as they don't have enough luggage weight.. Here's to 30kg!!

Congratulations on your retirement, I'm not jealous! What a fantastic time you're going to have, its great to hear good things when all you see and hear is doom and gloom and constant bickering about the euro vote. On a lighter note I got the cases down from the loft, only 9 weeks 3 days to go!

Well, Tre, it has just crossed my mind that you will cut a fine figure at the airport - imperious government lady pointing her swagger stick at sundry Sherpas, marshalling her party's mountain of luggage. By Jove ma'am, I'm glad you're not on the Birmingham flight!
À toute à l'heure in the Bourtzi then.

Dennis, wish I was on the Birmingham flight! You get there 2 hours before us! Lol Question from son; how to pack a 3 piece suit without creasing? Wonder if it'll end up in my case........ Good job I called by yesterday, he was taking all the new white shirts for him & "his lads" in the packaging they came in! Now all 4 washed & pressed.....my suitcase? Bourtzi here we come!

I have no idea how to pack a 3 piece suite - ours is only two piece, but the sofa is quite long. Pickfords? Vera does our packing anyway (when the checkin desk asks if I packed my bags myself, I answer Yes, with my fingers crossed behind my back!).

How is Treason going to manage without you? Does his wife-to-be know how to take the pins out of new shirts? Or are shirts just wedding gear, once in a lifetime?

I thought that rings were more traditional for signifying the joining together of two people in marriage, not nails. Young people nowadays! Bob

They're probably goffs - dunno why the white shirts though. But I thought they did it with safety pins.

'Ere, Tre. I've just twigged - woman, 38 years civil servant, champagne retirement party? Are you that one who used to be in charge of MI something?

I expect you'll, have difficulty following that flight - for some reason the outbound flight never comes up as TOM7534, usually TOM41T (I think). But it doesn't start transmitting until well after it has departed. I wonder if I grumble at the pilot perhaps he can fix it? Anyway, I'll wave in case you can see me (seat 16A - window on the left).
