Here is guidance for inserting images from iPhone/iPad, using Photobucket - who knows, maybe it's the same from Android stuff and other photo websites too, but I haven't got any of those to test with. So, you have uploaded a (several) photo to Photobucket and want to put it into a post here. Starting in Photobucket, click/select the photo you weant to insert. It will come up on its own. Click SHARE. Then click Get Links[/b] Now click on the link marked direct
This is where it get a bit fiddly for me - maybe it's my fingers, but you need to select the content of that box and I need to tap the content a few times to persuade it to offer the banner Select/Select All, etc and when it does, click Select all. That will highlight the contents of the box.And then you need to copy that - tap the highlighted thing again and select/click Copy[/b] YOU HAVE NOW FINISHED WITH PHOTOBUCKET, SO GO INTO BOOMERANG FORUM.
Right, you now start a new thread (or Reply to an existing one, e.g. Photo of the Day) and you get this start of your post...DO NOT start posting yet. Instead, scroll down until you see and click on Desktop, whereup[on you will get the posting window topped by the icons, including the Insert Image icon. Now you can type or simply insert the image by clicking on the Insert Image icon, which brings up this little window...You need to replace that http stuff with the full address. Remember, you copied that to your phone's memory whilst you were in Photobucket, so now, Backspace off the http stuff and then tap the thing until it says Paste, click Paste and it'll put the address in there and you now click on the button Insert Image and (as I said before), Kelso's your uncle

Thank you Dennis for this very detailed explanation of how to post an image using Iphone/Ipad. It seems complicated, but once you have done it a few times it will become second nature.

Looking at it this morning in the cold light of day it looks awful. I thought maybe if I printed it, it might make it easier to follow - maybe lay it down like a strip of wallpaper. But it turns out to be 14 pages and my printer decided to print them back to back and the page breaks are all over the place. Now I shall have to see whether I can get it into a word processor to get it into a series of pages and convert them to PDFs (which I can't produce) or JPGs which I can. Having a copy on the desk to follow would make it possible, but trying to follow it from the same screen looks impossible!
