IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT.
WE ARE GOING THE OTHER WAY ROUND. Alonissos first, then Skopelos. Current rough estimate arrival Skopelos 2:30pm our time, 12:30 your time. Iāll update on that once we leave Alonissos. Change of route because of weather - we think itās glorious, apparently Captain thinks thereās waves on the other route. Thatās what you get with a Softypants in charge! So cancel this lunch time dates and start watching the waving places at 1pm.

Wednesday āsome date thatās covered over on my watchā. At last we got in gear for a proper dawn swim and got to the beach at 7:30am. Slightly more waves, but still so lovely. We did 16 lengths - I shall be a shadow of my former self when we go home! We popped into town to get a few more things, but because I had forgotten that my new trousers with elastic would be ready on Friday, we had to buy a few ladies things to pass the time - Vera gets two for one almost everywhere, so weāve got twice as many of everything. I try to remind myself we were a few kilos under coming out and hope thatās enough to cover the additions weāve bought. Gyros and beer in Nikos - he has his own way and fortunately I have enough Greek to catch him getting our order wrong (and earn a grumpgh and snort from him).
We ate in Jasteri, two of the specials of the day, Vera had salmon which she said was terrific and I had sea bass which was terrific. Tsatsiki starter, one and a half beers and one and a half waters, E42.50, bargain for expensive fish.

AND...looking at the camera, I think we have much better chances of making the lovely V+D out if they stand near the motorbikes across the road??? Thoughts?

Best place would be on that patio area to the right of the tree (as we look at it) so long as they don't come too far forward and stay at the back where the bikes are propped up on the fence. That's probably the closest the web cam view could give. If that blue motorbike/scooter thing stays there all day then if they lined up with its front wheel about 6ft from it on the patio that would be about right.

Yes.... where they intend/usually stand can be far too busy with others around to make them out.. Kev have you any idea how to take a quick shot of it here on my laptop?
