Well 11 days and counting to our second visit this year, parking and hotel at Gatwick sorted and booked our Jimny jeep with Nikos at Victoria with collection at the airport. Looking forward to staying at Theodora Studios, they looked very nice when we had a quick look in June. Haven't really got to have a Dennis style pre-holiday haircut as I'm a baldy! Updates to follow.....
we will keep you posted Tre, im sure we will love Theodora just booked taxi for the airport as we live close £25 each way cheaper than parking at east mids and dropped off by the door. getting quite excited now, making list of tavernas to try in the area, reading reviews for infinity blue cant decide whether to go there one night as so close or olive thea, anyone been to both? As it will be early evening when we arrive it will be somewhere close the first night after we have stocked up on ouzo, wine milk and my usual breakfast stuff, greek yogurt, honey and peaches. while im there will be deciding on next years holiday
Thanks Tre, yes it should be good. Hi Cariad23 been to Olive Thea and Infinity Blue several times, both got great views but Olive T definitely has the best and they pick you up, although I would say Infinity was the better meal. We don't arrive till probably 9pm so it'll be straight in the bar, maybe see you there?!
Cariad, I've not been to Olive Thea but I am a great fan of Infinity Blue. Why not do both and let us know your definitive opinion? If you go to IB go just before dusk and watch as the lights come on over in Evia as you enjoy the scent of the pine trees and prepare to be impressed by the service. Just past IB, as you walk back up, is the Xanthi Bar, where mine hosts, Matina and Bill will make you very welcome. They have a great barbecue and quiz night on Mondays, so it's worth booking for that. Have a great time, whatever you decide to do. Bob

If you could find someone to drop you at the nearest Skylink stop it's a great service, runs 24/7 and routes from Nottm, Derby & Leicester to EMA. If you get a prepaid mango card from Trent Barton it's about £3.50 each way.
Thanks kev when we lived in Birstall skylink went through along A6, would cost us £7 for taxi to the bus stop. We dont get back until late evening the bus only runs every hour then. my husband used to use it to work with a weekly ticket cheaper than the petrol.
