No reported cases yet, as far as I can tell.

And none in Keynsham or Weston-super-Mare, but I shall avoid Sprouston.
Let’s not speculate, eh? I’m looking forward to my holidays and am still waiting for TUI to release sales of my preferred accommodation for 2021.

I’m going to Kefalonia this year.
We usually go the first two weeks of the holidays, but this year we’re going towards the end, so that’s an extra month for things to sort themselves out.

Lesbos has reported a case, it's the first non-mainland Greek region to have announced it. Still less than 100 cases for the whole of Greece, which is a massive area. Best case scenario is that Greece won't see much of it until the hot weather kicks in which tends to reduce the spread. Worst case is that Greece is just behind the curve and will see a major spread later in the year which will impact a bigger proportion of visitors. All a bit wait and see at the moment but the situation in Italy shows how quickly it can spread.

What have you got against Sprouston, just two miles down the road from me here in Kelso? Bob

I have nothing against Sprouston - just needed to choose somewhere which doesn’t yet have an outbreak of Coronavirus.
Horace departed this mortal coil many many years ago. His very large house on the outskirts of Keynsham has been through several transformations including a care home. Currently classy residential apartments - so posh they have a speakerphone on the entrance gate.
James Dyson’s house is a dozen miles away at M4 junction 18. That’s so big you can’t even see it down the entrance drive. You can’t even see where the drive disappears!

Yes Cariad, I did the same using my crystal radio bought for 5/- from the Daily Express. Horace Batchelor used his famous "infra draw method" to "predict" the football results. Thanks for all that info Dennis. Much better than Google! Bob

He sold a football pools thing. You bought tips from him, several of them, and if/when you won, you gave him a percentage. If you didn’t win, he sent you more tips for free until you did win. I think it was called The Infradraw Method. It made him a fortune.

A lot of doom and gloom posted on other sites, the most sensible post I have read on FB, was by our very own Dennis, well said Sir. Yes there is a possibility our pending holiday may be cancelled, but we shall accept and rebook when possible, disappointment yes, but not the end of the world. If it lowers the risk of infection on the island fine. However one thing we cannot help with is the possible financial implications to business on the island, the season is already short and I hope disruption is minimal.

I don’t feel fear about the virus getting into Skiathos - I think that’s inevitable so they’ll suffer the same medical issues that we all do, worsened by having only minimal treatment facilities, but they'll ‘survive’ that.
I fear Boris’s press conference this afternoon has done me gloom. First they say they project the virus to peak in 10 to 14 weeks. And that’s the top of a curve which starts rising now, then descends after the peak, making a six month long curve. That takes us to August/September. So it looks like both our holidays are in jeopardy. And Boris already says over 70s shouldn’t (mustn’t?) go on cruises. Will he ban us from travelling in summer? Will his ban be treated by insurance companies as if it’s an FCO edict? That’s if the holiday companies don’t go bust!
I can get over that. But if the British don’t go, I can only imagine the island might collapse - it surely won’t be just the Brits who stay at home. My stomach is literally in knots for fear on behalf of ‘my’ accommodation and all the others accommodations, the tavernas, the boats, the shops. I despair.

Have you seen news in financial times Tui share price halved , tui stopping paying hotels etc as dont know if will be able to fly/supply holidays. This could be a disaster for islands relying on tourism like skiathos, theyve already taken a hit last year with TC. we are in two minds about our june holiday due to pay balance soon if all flights cancelled (tui) after we have paid we could lose money if insurance doesnt pay , remember ash cloud ! we are off to a remote island if travel stopped while there we would to get home as we need a ferry just get to an island with an airport. if i was on mainland you can get a train or hire a car to get home. Also just found we need a new roof on our kitchen extension meaning an unexpected bill costing as much as holiday. we might cancel booked holiday and nearer the time see if travel still on see if we can get a last minute deal. i think also we all need to ring our holiday insurance to check exactly what we are covered for.

Honest answer is nobody knows, a tad annoying that our flight prices have dipped by £100 each , but hey ho. We can all only hope our holiday will happen, on booked for May 10th and have everything crossed. If we can’t make May then will look to visit later if we have al, clear, Just hope travel companies don’t try and play catch up and charge exorbitant fees. Whatever happens, just hope our hosts on this beautiful island don’t suffer too much financial hardship

I rang my insurance last week and couldn’t get any sense out of them. The nearest they’d offer was if FCO advises against travel I have to claim off TUI first or maybe off them or something else! If FCO don’t advise about that island I’m getting nothing!
I just think we shall find out if/when it comes to it.

update, just heard from family member due to go to Tenerife in two weeks , asked Tui what would happen if travel banned to tenerife, would they give refund-No, they rang travel insurance not covered for coronavirus, 2 weeks after they get back its sons wedding so they are bothered about being quarantined out there. looks like will have to cancel and lose all money.
