Fantastic news.
The new cases figure for Greece has just fallen for the 3rd day running.
Whether this is just a blip, or Greece has got it under control, there'll be no quarantine this week.
The scary thing is, had the numbers since Friday risen as much as they've fallen, the UK government would quite possibly be pulling the plug on Thursday. If not, certainly next week.

Great news. Did you see the live video of the port last night on Facebook? It’s looking really busy now!

Kate, it was a Greek holiday/ festival yesterday, this may account for the port looking busy.

Of course ... hope (selfishly) that it’s busy, but not TOO busy!

Of course ... hope (selfishly) that it’s busy, but not TOO busy! That's us exactly.

Town was pretty quiet at 8pm tonight. But by 10pm it was much busier. Not what it should be at this time of year tho. The old port was packed. All the bars on the front were busy and boom shake the room music coming from all of them. Is it a competition to try out do each other. It never used to be this loud.

Our friends due to travel 9-16th September, they’ve just received an email from Love holidays saying, ‘ due to current circumstances, your holiday is cancelled ‘. Now a tad concerned as we’re due to fly on the 11th, although booked flight and accommodation separate, same hotel and airline as our friends. At present I cannot see a legitimate reason for them to cancel.

you;ll probably be fine if your accommodation is open .Love holidays a poor record in customer satisfaction or refunds. I dont think its worth using a third party booking agency to save a few pounds. If you have booked your flights with the airline direct you should be fine. Hope so

Are you booked in at the Atlas again, Dave? I’m going to call in & check that the Meltemi is ok for our late Sept visit. We’ve a friend here at the same time who has booked the Atlas.

Hi Kate, yes booked into the Atlas again, spoke with them today, all ok for our visit plus I managed to book a room for our friends who had holiday booked with love holidays, and they’ve managed to book on same flight that LH cancelled, the upside is they’ve made a substantial savings on the price originally paid. We fly home 18th September, unsure if our paths cross.
