Ah bummer Dennis! Perhaps phone customer service and hopefully you’ll get a sympathetic call handler (they do exist), who might be so kind as to reinstate your data for the month - tell them your story and they might be feeling in a generous mood. Worth a try anyway.
I already did, both Apple to see if they could suggest how it might happen, then Vodafone. On the phone for ages, mostly with V, to eventually get details of date and time. But no sympathy, just told me their system doesn’t tell lies and doesn’t create records.
makes me when the bank freezes your card, how dare you spend your own money ! banks obviously think we are too stupid to be able to tell what is a proper site. I,m getting a new car, well a different one tomorrow, i went to the banking app on my phone to do a bank transfer, told me i couldnt a maximum of £2000 only. So the dreaded phone call to the bank forced to listen to a load of rubbish about covid for 10 mins. Finally got through they said we have to satisfy ourselves its a genuine transaction , not a scam and you realise what you are doing !! when i gave the details of the account i wanted to transfer to he said oh i used to work for them, good company. He said he had to read me an official statement first, which he did then transferred the money. After about an hour of frustration, the money went out my account immediately and didnt arrive to the car place bank for 24 hours. just been on to gov.com to tax and insurance company phew can relax.
