Hi Dennis i love sherry trifle too, im making mine today, as i'd done another of my specials for christmas day. Actually i quite enjoyed the day plenty of room to sprawl out fell asleep for two hours after lunch, which cant be done with visitors. my son came yesterday with two grandsons which was nice had some very noisy toys phones with them. Later on we watched my big fat greek wedding 2 which we loved reminded us of what we missed this year, the noise the familyness the food, every conversation full volume and sounding like an argument. We remenissed abpout some holidays, remembering great impromptu nights. We were with friends on Mykonos one year (now sadly died) it was her birthday the last night of holiday we ordered a cake at our favourite taverna which of course we couldnt finish so we sent it over to a bid family group and asked them if they would like it, after many thank yous hugs we were dragged into their party dancing late into the night we were the only english and welsh there , lots of other greek families singing etc truly magical and filoxenia at its best. Thats what holidays give you -memories that cantbe bought

Merry Christmas everyone.
I got my first jab on Wednesday. No side effects as such.
As ever, I’ve eaten and drank too much, but there you go.
Have a good ‘un, what remains of it.
