Sorry we didnt cross paths, for a small island its surprisingly difficult to co ordinate meetings and I wouldnt want to impose on a family holiday. Ironically mum and I were chatting over breakfast and we might bus down to Kouk for a change tonight and eat there, maybe BBW and would be nice to say hi to Dino at Agustera. Have a safe trip home, wont seem long before you are here ahsin but it will be much quieter by then.

So, Saturday night was Bus Stop 3, the Health Centre and Covid tests. On to Mesogia. 98 years young, and still going strong.
When you walk around most of the main streets, they’re clearly changed by tourism; t-shirt shops, jewellery shops, etc. But sat outside Mesogia, I’m not sure it’s that much different to before tourists arrived. Lamb and potatoes in lemon, lovely.
Last night, in to town for crepes for the kids, then back to Kouk and Kleftiko at Big Bad Wolf. Excellent, and the Alpha Syrah rose was perhaps the best wine we’ve had this holiday.
Had to be out if the room at 11:00, coach picks us up at 5 or 6 or something. Breakfast at Agustera. Lazy last day by the pool.
It’s all gone far too quickly.

Short, but sweet, thank you for reporting, it all contributes to memories and anticipation, whether we're coming or going.
PS If I live that long, I shall absolutely hate it if anybody calls me xx years YOUNG (and already do). It's condescending, looking after, shall I cut your meat for you, hold out your bum and I'll wipe it for you, does he take sugar, shout so he can hear, etc, etc, all because you're too old and decrepit to cope with those thing by yourself. We visited a hospital once and we sat as two slightly elderlies wiith all the other elderlies and the nurse spoke VERY loudly to us all, and bent her head a bit to get down to our shrunken levels. After she left, I commented on it and everybody agreed it was daft.

Agreed. I’m not sure that applies to a taverna, though. :-)

Breakfast at the Agustera is a great thing about staying so close! I've had a very good full-English at Fresh and a very bad one at Portobello, but Dino's are certainly the no 1 in my eyes. It has gone far too fast - but it takes the sting out when you're coming back so soon. Thanks for your posts 😎

Sat at the poolside bar, whiling the day away.
We get back to the U.K. pretty late, and won’t get to bed until the middle of the night. I’m glad I’ve taken Tuesday off, as the holiday has taken its toll (sleep/beer ratio out of balance).

I’ll post a few more comments later, and I still have the pics to put on Flickr so I can upload to here.

Oldest on the island, apparently.
At the airport.
Guess what? GOSH! Everything’s overpriced!

Coming home (from 4) the bus was full, with a few standing, but they let us on. Again, everyone was masked up, and seats became available within a few stops. Just a quick note. On my way into work on the bus this morning. Ten of us onboard, including the driver. Eight without masks. Including the driver.

And that is what's wrong with us, we are only interested in getting rid of the rule about wearing masks. Granddaughter, mildly anti-vaxer, will now get vaxed, even though it's so unfair that they say we've got to have passports to go to clubs. Extreme comparison, but I bet she wouldn't walk round Kabul right now!!! (sorry, off topic, but I couldn't resist).
