From the webcam, it now looks like it's mainly gone.
And according to the forecast at the BBC, the temperatures due are:
Now-Sunday 7° Monday & Tuesday 9° Wednesday 12° Thursday 13° Friday 15° Saturday Sunday & Monday 16° Tuesday 17°
A 10° jump in 9 days.

Yeah well, I'm not interested in the beach or pool until it gets another 10

I have this thing, and I'll hold my hands up, it's a bit rubbish. But here goes.
For me to fire up the BBQ in the garden, it needs to be 18° minimum. And that needs to be little-to-no breeze, and lots of direct sunlight (little-to-no cloud).
Obviously, the warmer it gets, the less important the breeze and cloud cover are.
That's just me.

My simple thing is I bought a barbecue years ago, volcano stuff in the top, a big heavy gas bottle underneath. First time I fired it up was for the family to enjoy in our garden. The sausages broke up and fell down amongst the volcano stuff and the burger things dripped down onto the volcano stuff. The two blokes offered to help, so I stood back and did my thinking thing, didn’t even do my supervising thing. Nobody died of whatever barbecues do to kill people, so ever after, I’ve done thinking whilst they deal with it.
latest simple thing is we’re giving it to grandson who has bought a house half a mile away.
