Does anyone remember the half Chinese/half Indian restaurant next to the Stamelos bar in Kouk? It was part of the Caravos in the days when people used to actually stay there. We only tried it once ... awful!
Apart from that, have only ever been in OPH a couple of times to meet people who like it there. Not my bar of choice.

The only one I'm really familiar with is Old Port House (Dave and Libby are great hosts, everyone welcome not just facebookers) and we don't stay in long, usually a pre or post meal drink if we are eating up that neck of the woods. Never been in Pheds that much, usually only if Nasos is playing an acoustic set and don't think he's played there last couple of years.
Tend to gravitate toward Blind Dog for live music. Danny is English so does this qualify as a 'half English bar'?
Not been in Benbows since it changed hands again, it looked very run down and the service was shocking toward the end of the previous owners tenure but that was a few years back. Maybe should give it another go but as you say the bench arrangement doesn't do it any favours.
The other one that probably should be in the list is King & Queens but I think that is going through a transition now? Not sure I've ever been in though I've walked past it a few times.
Of course there is Agustera in Kouk which isn't run by Brits but very much caters toward them with the full English available in the mornings etc.
I don't really bother about the obsessive 'must only eat/drink Greek in Greece' thing. If I'm in the UK I don't habitually only eat from what is traditionally seen as 'English Cuisine' so I don't feel obliged to do so in Greece. Yes the bulk of my meals are Greek but if I'm in the mood for a pizza one night I'll have one. Just like the Greeks do themselves!

I did go to the Indian down on the club strip with a large group of fb folks in 2019. It was OK, much the same as any typical curry house in the UK. Not terrible but not outstanding either. Not been back since, didnt actually check if they were open last year.

Not been back since, didnt actually check if they were open last year. It was closed last year, but the chef worked a few evenings of the week at Mylos - which was very popular with the ex-pats! I'm sure I heard that it's going to re-open this summer.
