Hi, new to the forum so hello ! Visiting Skiathsos for fourth time in August (first time in 11 years though) and now with children in tow (8 & 9). Have booked what appears to be a nice appartment in the town (Helios Apt) but the one down side is the lack of a pool. I seem to remember back in the day that there were a few swimming pools in the town that were communal or there were hotels or appartments that were with non-residents using the pool. Is this still the case and if so please let me know where they are. Appreciate things may have changed on the Island as its become more popular over the years but thought i'd ask the question. Thanks in advance for your help and guidance. Neil

I'm not sure how things stand with hotel swimming pools these days but just head for the Skiathos Tennis and Leisure Centre, open daily free of charge they have a lovely pool set in gardens with a poolside bar, free sunloungers, taverna, table tennis, tennis. The food is lovely and very reasonably priced. Just yesterday when it was roasting hot here all my family were wishing they were in the Tennis Club pool
