Hi all, Not yet been to Skiathos but hoping to next year, Hoping to stay at Troulos and was hoping i could be given some idea of the number of eateries and nice drinking venues. We do like to try lots of different eateries on holiday Thanks in advance.

plenty of eateries and places for a drink in Troulos. If you exhaust all possibilities in Troulos then it is only a short bus/taxi ride away to many more. You will not run of different places to eat on Skiathos.

Another Troulos fan here. Been going there since 1999 and would recommend it to anyone and everyone except 18-30s and clubbers etc. Nothing against 18-30s as I was one once, it's just that the resort does not cater for them. Great beach, good tavernas and a great sports bar though, all within 15 minute walk. There is a great little cut through from opposite Patatiri that takes you down the side of Sunrise and out down the Beltsios/Astoria path that means those staying on the Asselinos Rd don't need to walk up to the junction to get to the main road. On the way back from the beach it's also a good excuse to stop off at Christakis for a cold one.
