Hi, Will be going to Skiathos for the 1st time this summer, staying in Troulos. *Myself (45) partner (55) and our daughter (8) with another couple 60 & 70 yrs One question I have which I hope someone can help with...... I've been searching on various maps etc for the location of Thanos Apartments, I know it's about 10 or 15 mins walk to the beach and quite close to the Christakis sports bar but haven't been able to pinpoint it on any maps. Can anyone help at all ? thanks

Hi Troulove. On looking a bit closer, I think I have repositioned to the exact location on my map, if it is apartments with the pool with a small hexagonal childrens pool in the corner. I have found a picture on tripadvisor from a review which shows this pool as being the Thanos.
Hope it helps.

For information, the "road" indicated at that spot is not really a road, rather a track until it reaches the Astoria Hotel. However, it leads towards the beach, about ten minutes away, and is quite negotiable - we used it last summer to get from Villa Maria to and from the beach every morning and found it a very pleasant walk (we're in our seventies and half of us [me] has a distinct aversion to exercise harder than walking to the nearest bar!). If they have survived the barbecue, there are some nice goats in the field opposite, ideal for 8 year olds (and 70 year olds!) to feed green stuff - we used to pick plenty of handfuls on our way back from the beach as most local greenery had already been fed to them. Very nice taverna there too (Sunset??) where we shall be eating again this summer.
