Here's my drive from Troulos - fork off to the right at bus stop 18 - to Kechria Beach. No sound this time because I turned off audio recording on the camera and I have no idea how to add background music and anyway, I can't find anything decent and free of copyright.
It's 45 minutes long, because I had the dashcam recording our drive out and we like leisurely (even when there's a decent road!) to watch the beautiful countryside. Very short distance, really, about 12 kilometers, I would imagine those keen mountain bikers would pass us!
If you haven't got 45 minutes, here are a few waypoints...
Dog Shelter, on the right at 7:43 Firewatch station (they park a fire engine waiting for forest fires) at 15:20 Cross the stream and turn off the 'main' road towards Kechria at 30:46 Pass Ligharies Taverna at 35:50 Reach the parking at top of Kechria beach road at 38:15 Vera and I set off down the footpath (the Steps of Doom!) at 39:09 Then I (came back and) drove down and up for the last 5 minutes of the film.

I didn't have time to watch in real time, but enjoyed whizzing through your video Dennis. Is the absence of sound so that we don't hear Vera's screams? ? I did think at one point that you were lining up to shoot over the edge! I will have a more relaxed view later on when I can enjoy it properly. Bob

I've put a link to your video on the Old Boomerangers Facebook page Dennis, so what kind of commission can I expect if you get inundated? ? Bob

There's no sound because remember my birthday video, all I distinct talk, wop, wop, wop of windscreen wipers and coughing like you've never heard before. And because I can't do musical voice-overs.
When you get the (enormous) commission, I shall dun you for a (enormous) pledge to the webcam project.

That was good to watch Dennis I don't think that was the scary hill we did not go down. Nice picnic area too could be well worth the drive.

There is another scary hill at the other side, northern approach. Bear in mind in relation to scary, that my dashcam was mounted on the windscreen, so the angle you see and the rough ride that you notice are both very, very greatly reduced, simply by being attached - if it had been handheld, it would have seemed more scary and rough.
If we do the same again in September, I think I'll drive down, across the little stream at the bottom and up the other side to give a different perspective. I really need to persuade Vera to take a video camera and record the drive from outside, standing at the bottom to see me coming and going.

By the way, on small view it doesn't look all that scary. Run it full screen and it's scary when you look around at the views!

Enjoyed watching that Dennis.... is it a sandy, or very pebbly beach?... If we can lie down (on our shower curtain and towels) I would like to try that next year...

You can lie down on the beach if you take a shower curtain and towel, but it's quite small sand-wise. It's not really recommended for swimming as it's a bit stoney.
There is a beautiful grassy area to lie on though.

In just over 42 days I shall be in a position to go there and get you some pictures to show that you can sunbathe very luxuriously on the lovely grassy area and swim in the sea and sit on the sand and have a shower under their unique shower which spouts from a log.
If you look on the Photos section, I included three of Kechria there in my link.

We were invited up to a villa just below the Monastry and the guy recommended we go to Kechria beach.. but I do prefer a sandy beach... I know lots of the beaches have pebbles and even lots of rocks to try and avoid when going into the sea, probably my ONLY negative re Skiathos... oh except for the MOZZIES!..
