Here is a link to Skiathos Ian's Blog of life on Skiathos. Ian is a British Ex-pat who now lives with his family on Skiathos.

It is with great sadness that Ian has announced on his Blog that he will no longer be doing updates. This is due to the terrible illness that SWMBO is having to battle and that he must concentrate on supporting her and Junior.
Please think and pray for the whole family during this dark hour of their's.
Woody

It must be a horrible time for them. I think that it is amazing that Ian has been able to keep his blog going, with all that they have been coping with. I hope that it won't be too long before we hear some good news from them.

I've been out of the wi-fi scene for the weekend, so it was devastating to read his blog tonight and find this dreadful news. I have so enjoyed it since you (Woody) first brought it to my attention. I don't know how to comment on the blog (I'm not a very tech person) to pass my sympathy to him, but I shall think of him and his family for a long time with best wishes.

Richie, Kamila does an occasional update on the Skiathian blog. The last one was on 13th May and it sounded as though things were pretty rough then, but Kamila's upbeat attitude comes through in her post. Bob

This makes me quite angry. The world spends billions on the arms race and God knows what else, including MP's expenses, and they still haven't cured (Word Deleted) cancer. Grrrr.

Thanks for the update kelso and I agree with Dennis more money should be spent on finding a cure from the rain forests and not go into the fat cats pockets.
