Yes it's good there - last year, Jules husband Lee installed boosters for them so that we can now get wi-fi in all the rooms. (It's still no decent speed of course - I think the best throughout the island is only about 4 or 5Mb download, but at least he's made it wonderfully accessible - it was a tip from him that has resulted in me now having 50Mb wifi at home right down to the bottom of our huge garden).
Well thats very interesting, I cant get wifi if I step out of my kitchen into the yard before the garden... is it a tip you would/could share, pretty please??..
Thanks both. Just a short, final episode. Arrived at airport at 6.20 pm for my flight! No queue!! :-) put case on scales 19.8 kilos, then hand luggage, 4.6 kilos. No excess payment. :-):-) the Gatwick flight going before us via. Corfu was on apron but unfortunately, a bird had flown into one of the engines so plane not going anywhere! Our flight came in, all boarded on time, half empty so straight back to the UK with no refuelling stop! Great end to the holiday. :-):-)

Thank you so much Amy for your reports.As a newbie to Skiathos (we go in 24 days time) I was interested in all your comments especially your food diary! Particularly the fact the Avli serve fish platters for one as I like to try different fish but my husband is very conservative in what fish he'll eat (ie cod (or possibly haddock) covered in batter and served with chips and peas (but not mushy!)) However I did manage to coax him to try swordfish in Zakynthos one year and he'll now sometimes order that (but only in Greece!)

If you do try Avli and like garlic bread, it is not on the menu but the owner will make for you! Good too as it is only a small round so you can have that starter and main meal if you like. :-):-) as for your husband, Kipos do a lightly battered haddock! :-):-)
I used to be exclusively battered haddock and taters. Then Vera persuaded me to try Bass and now I have it every week, so much better. Salt and Pepper do me a nice one and in less than 2 weeks I shall be there for one. Only this time, he's told me he can fillet it, save me picking the bones out.
