Come on you slacker. You've been there two hours now and not a word! You are in danger of losing your status as our roving (or is it raving) reporter? Bob

Di you're being too kind to him. The dentist will be working on his mouth and that shouldn't stop his thumbs flying over the keys of his iPhone. You'd think he was on holiday or something! Bob

Ah good thinking Di. You are absolved! Mind you, as it will be near the end of their holiday that drink might just be tap water, unless Vera has controlled his pocket money! Bob

We have three sets of money :- my money, Vera's money, and our money. This last comes from several sources and is used for basics, i.e. food, meals.
We each spend our own money on whatever we wish, occasionally buying each other some small thing and we take it in turns to pay the bus fares. If Di behaves herself until next week, she'll qualify to enter into the draw to win a free drink (but I shall probably win that).
