Kechria beach? Never again. That is all..... Not even the toilets? I wish you had said why, but I can only guess it's the travelling not the arrival. Shall we join forces and thank Bob for the sticky shower thingy? Success and brownie points for me. I must try to remember to tell Lee about that wifi - he thought he'd got it going all over, but I don't know if he had tried it from the top floor rooms. It's the overhanging roof over the router downstairs. Did you think of getting the password for Nectar and Ambrosia? - I could see from Villa Maria that it was an available wifi, but never tried it.

What speed is the mobile data Di? (If you use it again, go to www. Speedtest.net and test it). I'm on Vodafone and didn't fancy their offer of £3 a day - I thought it said they only charge the £3 for the days you use it, so it's not like a blanket charge for the whole holiday?

Yes Im afraid its £3 a day Dennis Sorry for the misunderstanding Di. I meant is it (only) £3 for a day when you use it - e.g £3 for Monday, Wednesday and Saturday (total £9) if those are the only days you use it, not 6 x £3 because there are six days covered. Strewth, I've just dialled the free call about it and the recorded details goes on for ages! Have you done a speedtest yet?

(You'll only get this in time if you're on wifi over there). We only went to Kalivi once, two/three years ago and didn't like it, but we had heard it has improved greatly since the sons took over.

Yes Dennis as soon as I turn on mobile data than log into anything thats my £3 gone for the day... And then same every day if you log in... Im allowing myself a maximum of 4/5 days usage so 12/15 pounds extra on my bill... No forgot about the webcam, Im struggling today with aching joints/legs so Im just pottering slowly today, nice to be back on the boat now ready for Alonissos!

We decided it was a mistake to take the 4 Euros bus trip up to old town in Alonissos as all we had time to do was buy a 6 Euros ice cream - so we had an ice cream each for 10 Euros! Nice views though.
You could have waved before going back onto the boat. Terrible lack of commitment there.
You can make up for it in September by watching out for our trip date, then getting on the webcam to watch for me doing the plonker wave again. You and Bob, both - it will NOT be acceptable for either of you to be otherwise engaged volunteering for stuff that day.

Yes, I did the 2 islands trip a few years ago and by the time we got to Alonissos I realised there wouldnt be much time for anything so I did a walk away from the harbour up the hills to view the area from there, some very nice gardens and things if it is the bit I recall. Glad Di found Dionyssos, it was one of the best meals we had all week when I went with a mate in 2013.

If you manage to get back to Skopelos Dennis, see if you can find this place if it's still there, might have taken a battering in the winter storms... It's up in the north east corner of Skopelos town, head up to the old castle ruins and its on the cliff top round the back. They did a marvellous fruit, yoghurt & local honey mix in a glass bowl that was quite special.

Lovely day... We didnt take the bus Dennis decided to just stroll around and had a lovely piece of orange cake with ice cream overlooking the harbour... The boat coming back was full of fun, impromptu greek singing and dancing/clapping everyone downstairs joined in! Off to Ratatouille tonight... Ps Mick had to help round up two of the little goats that were wandering in the street, what fun!!
