The Skiathos Boomerang Website has had a makeover. At the moment the content is the same, it just looks different, but I am hoping to try and get the time to update and add new content too. If anybody has any ideas for additional information on the website, please let me know and I will see what I can do. Woody

I keep forgetting about the website. I wonder if it would be useful to have a "getting about" section explaining about the bus service and the bus stops? The taxi service always seems to be a bit of a lottery, as to what they charge. I mentioned on Skiathos Lovers FB page that in Rhodes they have a large board at the airport and at the main taxi stance in town with all the destination and charges displayed. Someone came back and said that there is a price list posted up at the taxi stance in Skiathos Town. I have to confess that I have never seen it, but if someone who is there could copy it and post that, it might be helpful. We would then all know at what level to start the bartering! Your work on this as on the forum is greatly appreciated! bob

Thanks for that Bob. Under the FAQ's section there is some information regarding the Bus Service and which Bus Stop is which.

Trying to update information on the bus service for the website and forum. Having not been for a few years and never having used the buses, can somebody update me on the prices this year please?

Thanks all. It seems a bit hit and miss, but it looks like anywhere between €1.60 & €2.00

Previously I opened skiathosboomerang.co.uk. When I clicked on the Forum tab it opened a new tab, so that I could go back to the co.uk opening page. But I can't now.
EDIT TO CORRECT - I CAN NOW HIT THE BACK BUTTON

Dennis, the Forum link will now open in a new tab.
I have added the Skopelos Webcam back onto the menu, If you can provide some good URL's for other webcams I will put them back onto the website, as it seems the Skiathos one is still not working despite your best efforts.

I'm afraid my best efforst for the Skiathos webcam came to naught. There's only one solution, namely give the man the price of a new camera and we didn't get anywhere near enough pledges for that.
The webcam I've given a link to above (skylinewebcams) is brilliant, actually a live camera, although a slightly cramped view of my waving position at the port entrance - I'll have to move across a bit.

Both added Dennis. Are there any for Skiathos that you know?
