hi to everyone i am mike, a skiathos lad, father of 2, happily married for 23 years to a local lass, i want to thank you for creating this forum, if i am to be honest the reason i am here is that many of my posts on trip advisor forums have been erased, so i am a little angry with them, and have searched alternatives, i must say that i have been impressed here with the way things are going so far. ill try to contribute all i can, but keep in mind that i am an old gizzard, set on my ways, with some strong beliefs, but quick to learn new ways, and very young at heart...... thanks and cheers to all.
Welcome Mike. You are already well known to many of us from your very informative posts on other sites. TA seems to be shooting itself in the foot recently. I hope that we can look forward to many useful posts from you. Bob

Welcome to the forum Mike, it's nice to hear such positive comments about this forum. It has been going now for just over 3 years since the demise of the old Skiathos Forum which was taken down and over that time has now got over 1100 members, although many are silent members we do have quite a few regulars. Many of the members from the old Skiathos Forum went over to the Old Boomerangers Facebook page and some stayed on TA. Since the latest problems posters have been having with TA, this forum has had quite a few new members joining after, like you they became disenchanted with how TA were treating some of the posts. I hope that you find this forum useful and look forward to reading some of your posts in the future. If you have any problems with the forum feel free to shout out and we will try to help.
We have quite a few different boards to post too as you have probably found out by now, so any advice you can give in any of the sections will be welcomed.
Welcome from me too Mike. I have enjoyed your posts on TA and I think it is good for this forum that we have a "local lad" who has intimate knowledge of the island (no disrespect to our very experienced boomerangers!). :-):-)
LOL Dennis, I can think of worse things to meet in an olive grove, day or night, not that I regularly frequent olive groves at night! :-):-) but I have been known to walk through a couple in the daytime.
