At least I think that's what you call them! Anyone on here experienced about Greek showers? I've bought one of the gadgety-things from Amazon & it arrived today. It looks great & seems easy to 'work' .... however, when Paul saw it he thought that the bit where your shower head is held doesn't look big enough. I tested it on our shower & the space is too small for our shower hose . Although it adjusts up & down, it doesn't go bigger or smaller. Don't know what to do - but wonder if our hoses might be larger diameter than Greek. Does anyone know? It was only £8, but I want to take one that will work!

Oh, I've never heard of that problem before. I thought that they were a standard size. I've had mine for several years now and it has always worked, although mine was not as luxurious as yours - I only paid about £2. Bob

I bought one about 3 years ago. It was more trouble using it than not! It stuck well to the wall & the hose fitted. Just couldn't get the shower head at right angle. After attempting several "limbo type" actions to get the water on me I gave up!

Surely it doesn't go on the hose but on the tapered end of the squirting thing.
I got one of Bob's cheapo ones last year and the brownie points I won were great. To get it squirting in the right direction I suckered it almost outside the shower so that it squirted inwards. Proper job and points!

Dennis - you have to slot the shower head into the holder & the head is at least as wide as the hose. I think I'll buy a £2 one & keep the luxury one as an ornament :-)

Mind you, they're not as cheap as when Bob got his - mine was more than £2.

That's the exact one I bought! But, the shower head sort of "hung"

You have to twizzle it round with the shower head on it so that it squirts in the right direction.
Like Bob said - Technology!

By the way, did everybody note that Bob's got mates who are so Scottish they won't fork out £2.99 and borrow his instead.
