SON IN LAW (SIL) do keep up Dennis 🤣 It's his age Di! 😈 Bob It was that wannabee Yorkshiremouth who said Sunday Indoor League. I promptly put that down with my own guess of Son-In-Law, BEFORE DI POSTED and I added that you need a field or something for cricket - I should know, I'm a REAL Tyke. And Bob, don't think I didn't notice last Wednesday and Thursday that in your part of the world you still have bluebells at the roadside and the daffodils only finished blooming last week - down here they all ended ages ago. Yer backward, you lot!

Last year I filled the drive with all the kids’ films. They’d watch them whilst we were getting ready to go out for the evening – helped to keep them from under our feet. Despite the wide selection I think they watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs every other night!
I put a handful of ‘grown up’ films on, just in case.
One night we got back from town just a little earlier than usual, and were just a little less tired. So I stuck Seven Days in May on (great cold war thriller), and we watched it from in bed.
I don’t plan to go on holiday and sit in my hotel room watching the telly, but it’s a nice safety net to have there.

Rhubarb growing in yer garden? Is that it? What about gooseberries? Broad beans? Marrers? Taters? Spinach? Runner beans? Squash? Figs? Radishes? Lettuce? Leeks? Sunflowers?
Last time I went to Whitby was about 65 years ago. Moors? Have you been to Ilkley Moor baht 'at? Does tha even know what baht 'at means?
How did you score? 90% (12 and 1/2) is a pass.

of course i do Dennis "without a hat " and yes i do grow guz gogs!, love em topping and tailing them is a pain though.Runner beans too, had to cut back on alot of veg growing as the badgers kept digging them up and eating them, they especially like carrots. Sunflowers too , i have a competition with my grandson who can grow the biggest usually him. Leeks no success in spite of watching my dad when i was little putting collars round them to blanch them ,feeding them soot ? A bucket went over the rhubarb to force it=impressed.? Does this mean i can enter yorkshire without a passport? My father in law has reluctantly let border control let me into wales occasionally now that i'm married to a welshman. Looks like another sunny day ,dont forget to put your knotted hankie on your head Dennis, and remember no socks with sandals

Just come back from a week in Skiathos, we used the wifi in a couple of bars and restaurants around the island and where we stayed, I don't normally use it apart from a quick chat with my son to check all is ok, but due to the dreadful events in Manchester, we wanted to keep in touch and check the news.
The wifi worked well all the time, you just need to remember that they don't have anywhere near the speeds we have in the UK, its ok for email, FB and Skype (usually better without Video) but its no good for downloading films..not sure why you would want to.or uploading video, (we always do it when we get home)......if it rains or there is a thunderstorm it can go off.
we didn't use 5G as we don't using roaming although Virgin have just advised that we can use it from mid June without any additional charges.

Cheers Jules.
I just found out this afternoon that my current plan (16GB - Sim Only with EE) will allow me to use 15GB of that (almost all of it) for free in the EU.
As I've said, I won't be streaming films in 4K either! But it's nice to know you can FaceTime, or upload pics/videos, and just generally have the comfort of leaving Data Roaming on without worrying about a bill when I get home.

4G in SkÃathos Palace (2nd floor) just under 4mbps.
4G in Kouk having a meal 33mbps.
Will measure the speeds on the top of the Palave later in the holiday.
But I'd settle for 33 back home.
