On Facebook (wash my mouth out with carbolic soap!) they sometimes post a bunch of photos and I have only seen how to post just one. I don't like to ask anybody on FB because they'll discover I'm a dumbo, so can somebody tell me how they do it please? I'm talking how to do it from my iPhone, although I'll have my Macbook with me too if that's the only way. What I'm saying is, I take half a dozen brilliant photos with my iPhone and I want to post them all in one go like other people do. Or I've already got half a dozen scattered throughout my Camera Roll and want to pick out just those and post them.
The reward is my unbridled admiration of you.

Hi Dennis.... when you click to upload a photo onto FB and your camera roll comes up, choose the first photo... (it will be highlighted in blue ) to post more just click on a few more... all will be posted...it might take awhile to upload them all at once, esp if wifi isn't speedy but they should all post onto one fb posting?...

To put a photo on Facebook, all you do is either write a new thing or reply to a thing. Whilst you are writing, there's a little icon of a camera. Tap it and your phone, tablet or computer goes looking for your photos Tap a photo to select it then tap Add Photo. Then hit Enter or Post and you're done.
I was asking how to add more than one at a time.

Ive just tested it out on my phone Dennis... if you are repying/posting a comment say in someone else's posting..., yes you go to the camera icon, choose a photo and you post that one photo *you can only click and choose 1 photo*... BUT if you start a new post say on boomerangers on fb, you can click on several photo's and they all load up.... does that answer your query?...

I'm flummoxed!
Got some nice photos on my tablet that I took in the lanes last year but no idea on how to upload them on this forum! And don't talk to me about photobucket or an icloud account, you may as well be speaking double Dutch. :-)

Thank you Di that's cleared it up.
As for photobucket, as a free site it has now become heavily affected by intrusive advertising, so much so that using it is getting to be almost impossible and I'm looking for another. I did try to subscribe to Photobucket but it didn't work.
I can understand people finding adding photos here difficult - if you learn and do it fairly easily, it's easy enough, but you have to develop the knack. It's just like putting a duvet cover on. I know there's a way and I've watched countless videos on t'internet on how to do it, but I still can't.

Dennis, another - I think easier way of uploading photos from your phone or ipad -
Go to your photo album, select one of the pics you want to post & select the little square icon with an arrow coming out of it (top right on my ipad). It then comes up with a blue tick, plus a stream of your other photos. Select the ones you want (blue ticks) and then select the Facebook icon below. When Facebook comes up, you either post onto your main page, or - if you want to post in a group (eg Old Boomerangers) tap where it says 'posting to Facebook, friends' & another page comes up where you can choose 'Group' and then the group you want.
Written down, it sounds very complicated, but it's not ~ honest!! I figured it out for myself, just by messing with it, and I'm quite pleased not to have had to ask one of our 'tech-help' sons!

Thank you Katet. I can understand that as I've used the box arrow thing before to email and Airdrop photos

Wow, Dennis - Airdropping sounds very technical!

Airdrop is marvelous and SIMPLE. It needs two iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, MacBook)
You click the square arrow thing and first choice is Airdrop. When you click that, it searches for other iOS devices within range and then tells you which ones are there and you click on the one you want to give the photo (or many of them) to. The target device goes "Hey, heads up, I've got a photo coming". And in Hey Presto time, the photo/s is/are there. It is SIMPLERERERERERER than Facebook by a million miles. I take a photo with my iPhone and pass it to Vera's iPad with a click - she's impressed and that's good for my brownie points score. I have no idea how it works, but I'd hazard a guess it's wi-fi. Whatever, it's the sort of magic I like.

I need to upgrade my phone to an iPhone, then I can play at airdropping with my iPad too! (Got a Nokia phone on our very cheap contract ~ 2 phones for £34 a month - my Yorkshire husband is very pleased with the deal!)
