So it has taken me an hour to create a Flickr account and upload 5 photos to give it a try. At the moment I am guessing that I need to do an album to link in order to publish a pretty block. So I can't seem to create an album. I go to HELP and select Create an album and up comes a little page which starts with "Mouse over You | select Organize." So I fail at the first hurdle because I can't find a You.
Grrrrr!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
I HATE TECHNOLOGY! - where's DennisN to give me a dumbo's guide to it when I need one?

OK. I found a You and created an album with all 5 photos in it.  (Link deleted because it's rubbish!) All that album does is show the photos, it doesn't do wot that bloke ceejay did. |

Dennis, In Flikr, Click on "You", then "Albums. When you see your Album you want to share, press and hold on the Album icon until a box opens. One of the items in the box should say, "Copy Link Address". Press this and then go to "Add Link" on the forum Create Post, editing box and paste into the URL box. flic.kr/s/aHsm2iiVSk( EDIT - I HAVE NOW DELETED THE PHOTOS, SO YOU'LL GET A BAD LINK REPORT. I ony did a small number of photos to test with. I also wanted to learn how to delete them because I've seen a couple of photos which I think may not be approved of by the subject and she'll want to know how to get them removed from Flickr). Right, look at that thing and you get a webpage. Not that I got a box saying copy link address. All I could find was a Share arrow from which I got this thing. But that isnm't what ceejay did. He had lovely photos, different sizes nicely arranged with biguns and littleuns and all looking just nice. I'm still fed up. And weeping into my beer didn't make Jacob Rees Mogg disappear.

Ah. Just gotit. Click on the square thing at top right and it changes to a sort of display thing like ceejay did.
I still don't know if I like it.

Well wonders never cease! Just rediscovered the flickr account I set up some time ago! Had to Change & re set passwords obviously! But, it allowed me to view these fab pics:)
So, I just need to learn how to upload & share!!!! Grrr

Admittedly, Flikr isn't as easy as Photobucket for sharing onto here. An easier way of getting a direct link would be helpful. I will look into it.

Try opening the album and copying the url in the address bar at the top of the page. Then adding that url link into forum post "Create Link" button. Don't forget, your album must be publically accessible. Skiathos 2013 |
