Kev, I'd noticed that myself.
Allegations in those posts that he's rude are hardly deflated by his responses.
I've already decided, if he's really capable of such responses, I don't care how good the food is, or hoe pleasant he is to some, I'm simply not prepared to give my money to anyone like that.
And the chance that I might be one of those treated poorly.

We love Lo&La. Never had a bad meal. Lorenzo & his wife Anastasia are lovely & have always been the perfect hosts.

I'm sure that's right, but his responses suggest he has 'a side' to him.
Who does his online PR? Katie Hopkins?
Seriously poor judgement, by any standards, and worse still, completely unnecessary. Almost every decent place has a handful of poor reviews of TA. The best response is to reply politely, apologising, and hope everyone sees that the good reviews outnumber the bad by 20-to-1.
Responding to criticism of rudeness by being rude is not a well thought out policy.

Sometimes, though, Greeks do come over as rude as they are responding in a foreign language. They can sound rather abrupt. (I realise that he's Italian, but the same probably applies). We've only eaten once at L&La, but they were both lovely and the food was delicious. Don't know why we haven't been back 😎
I do agree, though, that it's not a good idea to be confrontational online!!!
