Yes Kev, day after termorrer, I'll be there.
We shall be going on the Ag Nik boat to Skopelos and Alonissos as usual, and I'll try to give notice of when to watch out for me waving on the Skopelos Webcam. I've already publicised the wrong date elsewhere, so I won't say anything just now and leave it until we've booked, then give out the correct information. Then on the day, I'll use some of my 4G data to give a decent accurate time to watch out for me. THAT MEANS YOU, Bob!

Fingers crossed you don't have delays like some of the recent Friday travellers. If you do Skopelos and are looking for a quick beer before the boat leaves DONT go to the place with the white furniture near the kiddies play area opposite the ferry dock. Charged us 5 euros each for 330ml bottles!

If we are to be delayed, I want it to be more than three hours so that we can get compensation worth the price of another holiday! Mind you, having not worked (self employed, bad leg) for 12 weeks by the time our holiday ends, I could do with a bit (big bit) of compensation (can't get it from the unlicensed, uninsured Greek bloke who done it).
Still no final decision on swimming. I have dressings which have been waterproof for showers so far and enough of them to give it a try - if it isn't good enough, I whip off the old dressing, put on a new one and don't swim again!

Fingers crossed on the swimming front, although I'm sure holiday won't be a disaster without your daily dip, I'm pretty certain you would rather it be part of your routine.
Being self employed for nearly 40 years myself, i sympathise with you, I was laid up for nearly 4 months a few years ago following an operation, unfortunately the welfare state does not extend into our fraternity.
As my grandkids would say 'only 2 more sleeps Dennis'

Yes Dave. Many years ago I damaged my knee and went onto crutches. Having paid self-employed NI contributions I decided to claim the only benefit we were allowed at the time. Completed a 39 page form and eventually received less than £3 a week! Far more curative than any cocktail of pills.

JSI having one of their better Fridays today. So far all inbound UK flights have either landed on time, are en route on time or are scheduled as still being on time ready to go. Fingers crossed for all travellers today looking good.

Have a great time Dennis, going back to your pork chop query I think the taverna opposite The Old Port House is called Meating Place, I had the best pork chop there last year.
My son and his fiance are on the Isle at the moment keep an eye on them for me, you can't miss them, he's about 6' 4" good looking ( gets it from me) she's a blonde 5 foot nothing!

Had a full update from "Treason" (well we did act for him by showing perspective buyers round his house earlier 🤞🤞) Dom was amused by the airport bus transfer to terminal!
They were planning on Johnny's, Kanapitsa for dinner
