It seems to be 7 or 8 miles from town to Koukounaries, depending on who you believe. 🤔 Bob

Well done, Kev - we were on the bus just over a week ago when it actually picked up at no 1, so can double-confirm. Also, YM is correct about no 2- it is near where the lady is checking her phone, a small square bus stop sign turned the wrong way round. They only put the 'posh' bus stop signs with dolphins on where there are lots of tourists 😄

Cheers to both if you.
Is the sign for Bus Stop 2 still there (hidden), or is it gone?

Yes, it's there, but hard to spot ... even from the bus!!
If you stop the video at 16.25 you can clearly see it, on the right in the hedge & facing away from the road. There is a road off to the left by the white building 50 yds? in front- I think this is one of the roads up to the monastery.

Tried to watch that just now, but I’m on my phone, and the screen is too small. I’ll check it out on a larger screen when I get home.

I've added a video to the end of post 1 for those in a rush.

I've added a video of a drive down Papadiamanti Street, from top to bottom. I'd added one the other day, but it didn't start at the top; this one does.
The video is okay, but there are two main problems:
1 - It's in fast-forward, so not much time to check everything out. 2 - It was filmed off season (January this year), so whilst it's pretty empty, everywhere is closed, so it's tough to identify landmarks.
If anyone would like to post here, adding the names of a few key places (restaurants, hotels, banks), I'll add that information to post 1.
Best wishes.

If you go to the settings (bottom right under the videos, icon looks like a cog wheel) you can slow the video down, going down to 0.25 speed is just about bearable but still a bit jerky. However I think it being shot out of season is more of an issue as so many places are anonymous closed up buildings. Maybe one of us on here should do a 'walk down' on our visits later this year and film it on their phone?

Cheers. Yes, I just discovered the slow down facility, but it doesn't appear to work (for me, at least), on IE, only on Chrome.
Of course, if only Google Maps would snap a few pics for street view.
I suggested that at one of the Facebook pages, and someone said doing so would ruin the island. I'm not sure how that would work!

I've also suggested google maps in the past but I just don't think there are enough car accessible areas for them to consider it worthwhile getting a rigged out car over on the ferry. It seems very hit and miss with holiday islands. Kefalonia, for instance, is heavily mapped out via streetview yet Cyprus, despite having some good roads, is comparatively lightly covered even in some touristy areas.

Hi everyone.
I've updated the first post.
Amongst other things, I've included Ottimo, made a few notes for Bus Stops 12 and 13, and added a few places I know between the bus terminus and the run through to the runway.
As ever, if there's something on the list that's newly open, now closed, has changed its name, or has been there ages, but which you want to add, please post here, and I'll add as soon as I get a chance.
Best wishes.
