There’s some debate as to how many steps there are up to the church, so I thought I’d count them myself.
For reference, here’s a link to the part of Mamma Mia where Meryl Streep sings in front of the church (and then sprints up it).
The word on the internet is that there are 110 steps. By my counting, not only is this not the full picture, it’s also (a bit) wrong.
So, before starting to ascend the rock, if you arrive by boat there are 52 steps off the beach to the main road, from where you access the church. Some of these are the steepest and most uneven in the climb.
There’s then a walk, with steps, to take you to the bottom of the ascent. There are 78 steps up, followed by 8 down, to get you to the bottom of the side of the rock. Look at that video, paused to 4:00, MS is running up those 78. Just in front of her (follow the lights) you can see a slight dip - that’s the 8 down. You can make out that she’s not actually at the foot of the rock yet - the steps which run up the side of the rock - she’s still on the approach.
I believe it’s from this point that there are supposed to be 110 steps to the top. By my counting, there are 97 to the gate at the top (from where MS looks down in that video at 4:12).
Wind back to 4:09 and you can see that gate, and you might notice that the church is just a little higher. Once through the gate, it’s 7 more steps to the level of the church entrance.
Most of those figures may possibly be 1, or perhaps even 2 out either way, but I suspect they’re spot on.

As a fellow (currently blindingly sober) Tyke (Yorkshireman), I feel bound to advise this bloke's readers that he is NOT a maths teacher, so he can't count for beans.
PS I'm not even anything, having retired for the last time (probably) a couple of months ago.

Too much exercise for me. I'll take a picture from the boat!
