If you circulate amongst those circles, I'm surprised you even know what oregano crisps are!! Caviar flavour probably more in your range. You didn't look like a caviar crisps man when we met you at Kechria, but I guess you're just good at blending in with the plebs.
Flight on-time lovely no turbulence, passport bit this time no problem just waved us through, cases took a while but straight outside to be picked up by Victoria rentals and out in our Jimmy, arrived at Theodora about 8.30. checked out the bar for a couple of cold ones, pizza and bed
Hi everyone posted on general forum last night blame the ouzo! Very happy with Theodora tre. Thick fluffy towels, unheard of in Greece. Proper king size bed not singles pushed together. So quit peaceful at night. Walked down lane to diamond studios, had excellent meal. One of best mousakkas I have ever had, husband lamb chops with chips loads tomatoes cucumber onion on side tsziki litre whit wine bread. Free metaxa after 30 euros the prices here seem much cheaper than in town. Slept very well! Awake silly early husband just gone on bread run to supermarket for bread , eggs from her own hens only had 4 left. Lovely tasty tomatoes. Yum
If it is still the same baker who drops the bread off, it's the best bread I've ever tasted! Now there's a statement! You might want to consider the Xanthi bar barbecue and quiz night on Monday night. Great food and a fun night. You have to book in advance, but that's no problem as you will be passing the bar anyway. Hope you continue to have a good time. Bob
Nice chilled breakfast overlooking the beautiful wooded valley beside our accomodation, loads of dragonflies darting about probably catching insects, met Cariad and her husband, she wandered up and said are you EGG? Been funny if I wasn't 😁 Going to have a mid afternoon meal and then head into town tonight for a few well earned cold one's, might go to a couple of music bars hopefully for some bangy thumpy music (Dennis)😁
That was a while ago Dennis! I sat by the pool this evening with a beer waiting for the wife to finish paletknifing on the war paint and I was almost bombarded by dragonflies all flitting about and constantly changing direction, none of them seemed to be looking for poo, but I could be wrong.
Went to Big Bad Wolf for the afternoon meal, had a sharing meat platter for two, it was ok but a bit too massive, big lumps of pork, burger things, sausages the size of medium torpedo's, lamb cutlets, chicken and half a ton of chips, a Greek salad 2 bottles of Mythos and complimentary water melon, 40 euros including tip. Then chilled for an hour or two and drove to town, parked in the rough ground car park behind the club strip as suggested by someone ( sorry it's late!) Old Port House and Admiral Benbows for beers, great atmosphere! Taxi home 13 Euros, night night
