I believe the captain has sadly passed away, condolences to his family and friends. It will be interesting to see what happens to all the land he owned in Kouk. I know these things with family inheritence in Greece can drag on for years but perhaps it might eventually open up possibilities for redevelopement. There were parts that were getting very shabby and it saddended me to see the state of the Caravos last year.

Very sad to hear about the Captain.
I suspect the amount of money potentially involved fir anyone developing that area of Koukounaries is enormous, which may well oil the wheels.

His son has said they intend to carry on with the restaurant … hopefully they'll find a developer for the rest of the land and Koukounaries can perhaps thrive again.
