More More, formerly Mythos. Confirmed €5 a large Mythos.

Is food served at More at all, also I spotted the rooftop bar how do you access that place? I think there’s food, I’ll check later. The Skye Bar, we went in last night - super views. Facing More, go down the short alley to the left, where Koziakas is. Half way down there’s an open door to the right. It’s up there (some steep steps). Pretty reasonable prices for cocktails, I think mainly €11 each.

The view from Skye Bar - taken a couple of years ago, though it hasn’t changed.

When we visited, enjoyed the location, but we used to love it as the rooftop, not overly impressed with the booming music though, I suggest it won’t be on Dennis’s places to visit list

So it was Scuna last night. Lovely setting, absolutely excellent, attentive (but unobtrusive) service. Just me and dad, the kids wanted to do their own thing, Cretan Dakota salad to share to start, bottle of rose, swordfish and moussaka for mains, cheesecake and a Baklava Mille Feuille for dessert. €80. We asked for dessert wine. They had none on the menu, but he found an old bottle of Samos and gave it to us for free! Had we not pushed the boat out, just starter, mains and wine it’d have been just over €60, which isn’t cheap by Skiathos prices, but doesn’t break the bank for a special meal. Today, and indeed Wednesday and Thursday, there’s a forecast of rain: thunderstorms today, showers on those two other days. It’s been a cloudy and morning, but very pleasant.

We sat at the front, and the music was relatively unintrusive, though I suspect it’ll be louder further back. The steps are steepish, but my dad (for whom we chose a hotel with a lift due to decreased mobility) found them to be doable. I suspect they may dig up a beer if you want one

Well YOU said steep steps and cocktails (for 11 Euros - heck of a price to pay for summat that hardly wets yer whistle!) and Dave said boomy music. Plus going out after bedtime - I'm not the slightest bit tempted to give it a try.

I agree about €11 for a drink vs €5 for a Mythos.
But some cocktail places are double that.
They’re funny, cocktails. Some are a glass full of ice with a bit of liquid, whilst others are like a huge quantity of flavoured milk.
In our hotel a cocktail us €11, but a short on its own is €8, so I suppose you’re only paying €3 for the other malarkey.
