We are looking to stay in Skiathos for three weeks, one week in the town and two weeks in another part of the island. This would be in June 2015, we would very much appreciate any ideas please?
Thank you

Hi Champlain, Try Skiathos Diamond Appartments in Kolios 'www.skiathosdiamond.com' Christos and Soula are the most welcoming hosts, they also have appartments in town, i highly recomend them, we have stayed ther for many years. Royster

Hi Royster On your recommendations I have sent an enquiry to Diamond.
Looking at the apartments and the studios, the apartments look much better? I have also sent an enquiry asking about accomodation in the town.
Many thanx for your advice.

Taking the small size of Skiathos into consideration, why change location?
I am a "semi-townie"; staying just outside of Skiathos town at Megali Ammos. Close to a decent beach, walking distance form town and nothing on the island are really more than 30 minutes ride away.

I love the town especially for the evening, as I cant be doing with the nightly scrum for the bus. But we stayed in two parts of the town this year, nice to have a change, first right in town, try oasis studios , but he gets booked up very quickly with regulars returning. Then we stayed on the beach at megali ammos at Aphrodite studios, a few paces to the beach you can sit on the balcony watching the boats in the bay and either walk into town along the beach and up the hill and down thro the back streets or catch the bus outside. Angeliki next door is fantastic too with lovely gardens and swell bar which anyone can use
