I read on the Skiathian blog that it has been decided to spend €425,000 upgrading the road to Xanemos. This decision cannot be unrelated to the fact that a member of this forum, who wears most unusual footwear and who has encyclopaedic knowledge of Skiathos, makes frequent use of this road. Very well done Mrs W. How did you manage it? Any chance of using your influence to get a chairlift up to the clock tower viewpoint? Bob

Haha I think the road has become terribly uneven due to the wearing of just the one clog don't tell them it was me in case they want a contribution What a clever idea .. a chairlift to the Clock Tower .. will do my best but if I fail would a rather agile donkey do instead? Anyone got any other ideas for improvements?

On a more serious note Bob, I wouldn't have thought that particular road was in need of having €425,000 spent on it, true it is a bit rough around the edges here and there so I wonder if damage has been caused by the heavy plant being used for the airport extension? I'm still miffed about my return leg being flattened .. bloomin' planes

So sorry to hear of your accident. Which is your return leg - the one with the plimsole or the clog? Bob

The pump wearing foot/leg of course .. nothing could flatten the irons on my beloved clog ..

The pump wearing foot/leg of course .. nothing could flatten the irons on my beloved clog, not even shins

Wow, I'm glad I don't leave my shins lying around.
I wonder, does a line of one clogprints give the trackers a funny turn?
