Well, I know the Greeks just love to fill their buses, but surely they're not going to get this lot onto today's Skopelos ferry?

Well, at a rough guess with the blurred state of the screenshots, fifty cars in addition to three lorries. And check the times - 16:16 to 16:38 - just 22 minutes from before parking, to loading, to unparking and getting halfway across the port.
You've got to admit if there's one thing the Greeks can do, it's operate ferry services. I remember (over 40 years ago) at Patras on Peloponnese, they ran ex WWII Landing craft across to Navpaktos on the mainland. They used to drive to the edge of the landing, hold it agains the concrete just with the engine and propellors, no mooring ropes, drive/walk on/off and away - they hardly seemed to stop. And I've seen exactly the same on other islands too.
I'm afraid the Skiathos webcam isn't clear enough today for me to decide how many are waiting, but good luck to them!

The island should start to quieten down a little now, the major holiday time for mainlander Greeks and Italians is almost over hence the massive queue's for the car ferry back to Volos.
My brother remembers when he used to island hop many years ago he would travel 3rd class on the ferries, up on the top deck with no cover/shade always trying to get an overnight sail so he could sleep under the stars.
