Quite impressed by the new buses this year , also impressed that the conductors appear to get more people onboard during the early evening runs from kouk beach (no room for the proodish when you're up close and personal with the sandy people) anyway I'm now very interested to learn why Zebra were chosen as a livery subject ~ if indeed it was chosen , it may simply be that this bus was destined for a safari park in Kenya and was intercepted by the Municipality on an" urgent requirement" basis .... any thoughts or facts would be gratefully received ... Well I've no idea why Zebra was chosen but the new buses were long overdue, I haven't seen them yet but believe they have aircon yay!

No they only run from the Terminus Skiathos town near the harbour along coast road through most resorts to Koukounaries. We also were puzzled by the Animal prints on the side of one of the new buses.

As a person of small brain, it never occurred to me to wonder why zebras. I just assumed it was because.

Was told that they have previously been used at a Safari Park, not sure how true this is but totally feasible

Probably not as they are left hand drive!

Was told that they have previously been used at a Safari Park, not sure how true this is but totally feasible I very much doubt it - they are (were in June) squeaky clean and unmarked. A very pleasant ride (although I suspect many non-seated visitors there right now won't appreciate that from their standpoint - boom boom!).
