Here's another quick one but I'm cheating. This isn't actually Skiathos but Skopelos Interesting little cafe type place near the ruins at the northast end of Skopelos town. Mainly drinks, yoghurt, icecream etc but great place to sit out and look at the view from under the white awning. It's very exposed so I wonder what state the place was left in after the storms hit...

OK one more, the 5-a-side pitch opposite my balcony mid afternoon on my last day on Skiathos, Sep4th. It's obviously reading high and the probe must be in full sun but check out the scoreboard which doubles as a temp guage.

I recently went on a solo trip to Skiathos from September 11th- 18th. I stayed at Hotel Morfo in town,a good choice. The hotel is just off Papadiamantis Street. The weather all week was fabulous, better than when I visited in June with my daughter.I visited friends that were staying in Kolios a few times.Love Kolios beach☺.Did the Kalypso Mama Mia boat trip....but not the climb to the church...I've done that twice !!!Had some lovely food in O Batis and Jimmys in AghiaParaskevi. It was lovely to see the Submarine Memorial Service too.Had a fabulous week and will definitely go solo again, although my next trip will be with my daughter.

Yes Di, just to confirm I uploaded photos into photobucket then just pasted the 'img' link from there into the posts. I've been a member on other forums (fora?) for many years that use this method so it was already familiar to me.

Once you get into it and as long as the uploads to photobucket don't take too long it's pretty routine, you can upload multiple images to 'bucket now too so can just do a job lot then pick whatever links you want to share. For anyone interested I've now started a series of my experiences from this year in the 2015 feedback section, look for the 'Recollections' posts.
