Tonight the price from Manchester is £473 total price for 2 adults. 30 June returning 14 July. This includes 23kg each luggage & in flight meal! Yes, there is a stop over in Athens, but onward flight to Skiathos gets you there by 8:35pm. surely a serious consideration. We've booked Aegean so will update.

Re my above post; just been looking again, they have a "go light" option which doesn't include bags or meals. Seems the £473 was & still is under this option. I paid more under their "flex" but it INCLUDES bags & meals. Sorry if I have mislead anyone.

Not at all - will be very interested in how you find the adventure via Athens!

The flex option (baggage included) in the week I'm going next year (from Manchester) is now £440 per person. The equivalent TC in same week is £360 from EMA which is closest to me (35min by bus for under £3) and no changes involved. Even if it was cheaper, to get to Manchester for the flight I'd be up in the wee small hours of the morning and not arriving in Skiathos until 8:30pm or so, assuming no delays.
