Yes the mavrodaphne NYX is £5.78 in Asda and there's a mavrodaphne 'sweet red' available from Morrisons for £5.50 ;-). One of the drawbacks of Skiathos being so small, no chance of them being self sufficient so a lot of stuff has to be imported and it pushes prices up.

Yesterday at the most recent dressings change, nurse said left leg is doing well, almost healed. But when I asked for an estimate on right leg (time, not price) she said about four weeks. I said you'd just better do that, because at this precise moment (UK 9:15am, Friday) in five weeks time I need to be at about 37,000 feet, doing 5 or 600mph on the way to another holiday in the exact same place.
