You may find that some photos have disappeared from the forum. This is due to Photobucket changing their policy on 3rd party sharing of images. You now need to have a certain subscription with them for this access at what seems to be the astonishing price of $399.99 a year. I think not!
I will try to find a best alternative, but I believe Flikr still allows 3rd party sharing without charge (at the moment).

I have been trying for months to upgrade to a paid account in order to get rid of the adverts which were making it almost impossible to work on Photobucket. It never worked no matter how hard I tried and I never found out the price, just assumed it would be "reasonable or acceptable".
Then in the airport outbound to Skiathos I got an email saying my account had been partly limited and offering a link to pay for upgrade. So away I went in a hurry before our flight boarded. I didn't see the price until AFTER I pressed GO. SO I'm a fortune out of pocket and my photos will work for at least a year. I wasn't going to admit to this stupidity, but you'd probably guess when my photos don't disappear. Presumably they'll disappear when my subscription ends. If anybody knows how to cancel my subs and get a (partial) refund, I'll be happy to hear.

For some weird reason all my photobucket photos in variuous forums have remained intact even though I haven't switched to a paid for account. I wondered if it was because my usage is so low but sopmeone on another forum with even less % of their allocation used has had all their photos 'held to ransom'. The ads are awful but I'm not paying for it, as soon as they catch up with me I'll just up sticks to another free hosting site like tinypic

I've logged on to my photobucket account several times since they changed policy and have uploaded a few photos. So far they have all appeared as usual. I even had a 'live' discussion with someone on another forum (also using the proboards platform)and he couldnt get any of his pics to load yet I uploaded and then posted the link successfully for the same photo from same web source in minutes. It all seems a bit hit and miss. I'm not relying on it though, hence setting up a tinypic account.

Have you got any recommendations for the numbers for tonight's Euromillions draw?

Sadly I think it will have to be a 'lucky dip' if I enter at all... ;-)

I've now had the email from Photobucket, too. Haven't tried to upload any new photos since, but my existing ones are all still on here. As Kev says, it does all seem a bit random!
