Well that just sums up my holiday having lovely swim silver and lapis bracelet I bought last week in shop ira jewellers I think . I saw it float off wrist obviously rubbish clasp in about 5 feet water as I tried to dive down it disappeared under soft sand. Couldn’t see well without goggles when you try to stay under water buoyancy keeps floating you up . I loved that bracelet that’s three now bought on holiday s all lost when clasp broke

I think you should stop buying waterproof bracelets, then you won’t go swimming in them.

9-30 here long boring day ahead.text from TUI this morning coach may be 15 mins either side of pick up time. It failed to mention pick up time, TUI never fails to disappoint. Re the jewellery Dennis husbands Rolex clasp broke 2 days ago LuckyIly in the room just imagine if that had happened in the sea he probably wouldn’t have noticed. Here Ends another holiday. Why is case 5 kilos heavier that coming out and only bought oregano !

If his Rolex clasp had broken in the sea, an octopus would have found the watch and it would have turned up in somebody’s calamari the next day. Which reminds me of my poor decision 60 years ago - I bought a camera instead of a Rolex for £200.

Oh dear Dennis would probably be worth around £4500 now. My ex husband bought a genuine Rolex in Hong Kong when he was 18 in the navy it was £65 about 4 weeks pay then he’s 72 now . A sea king when you have them serviced they replace any worn parts hands face springs levers so they last forever. Sitting in Ariston having a frappe watching ferries . They have a terrific selection of pies here think we will buy some later for the plane.

My ex wife brought me a gold Rolex back from one of her jollies to the far east. I was really chuffed. Until bits of gold started rolling around under the glass, so I chucked it in the bin and explained to her that I didn't like fake stuff. The one I didn't buy (before I met my ex wife) was a day/date one, current pricing around £30k!!! I could have looked like a rich Elderly now.

Finally boarded 9-35 took off about 10-10 Manchester flight delayed also Newcastle so imagine the crush people sitting on floor tired babies crying. Landed 11-35 bst. Buses straight to plane passport very fast think we were last flight in as came through passports cases coming through as among first. Straight out of door bus waiting for car park 2 got to barrier out of order sign number plate recognition not working, pressed button umpteen times finally answered let us out, I was about to do a James Bond and drive through barrier very p***** off by now. Roads empty in home 12-45 2-45 Greek time long long day . Husband declared doesn’t want to go on plane again ever certainly not TUI. Awake silly o clock this morning first washing done garden looks cremated. Now back to boring supermarket shop. Another holiday over. I think if someone offered us a freebie in September we would say no thanks!
